    I'm going to be getting a Mandarin myself. It says that the tank needs algae and maturity for the fish to survive. I'm getting to that point plus I have a lot of aquacultured florida rock. I'm going to name him Napoleon!::)

    Algae has nothing to do with it, as mandarins are strictly carnivores. Pods are what mandarins are all about

    But when in doubt, try "AIOLOS". It's greek for "quick moving, nimble".
