I just got this little guy (ha ha) today and he is in his own 29g tank. I need help naming him. It is a male mantis shrimp. He is already enjoying his first meal at my house! He eats frozen krill, silversides, hermit crabs and from the picture snails...he prefers turbo snails. I figure between all the other live feeds I have to do, what is one more.....I have officially become worse then the crazy fish woman!!!;D
The clicking of his claws is something that is freaking all of my other animals out. As soon as he finishes his meal, he will crawl into his pipe and settle down for a nap!
Anyway, I want a cool name for him....suggestions?

Thanks the black sand is actually really cool...I have used it in my newer nano aquariums. I can not stand when sand gets dirty looking...so what is the solution...get black sand;D.

Plus originally, the 29g was going to be the home of my seahorses before I finally decided to go with dwarfs. A little bit ago, I had an awesome white seahorse in one of my tanks. I was so proud of him...until I got him home and placed him in my tank...and could not find him. I had white sand, white rocks, white fake coral pieces, and a piece of white dead acro to hatch on. Every once in a while I got a glimpse of black eyes floating across. At that point I decided I would use black sand the next time I set up a tank..When I went to set up my 135 I realized price was not going to allow this as it was about $1.50/pound..so I decided to do it on my smaller tanks.
