Okay, I need new lights, desperately. Here are my final two combos I'm trying to decide between. Please let me know what you think!!! I'm a super lame duck with lighting, so any helpful comments are welcome! :)

    1.) 5 12k aquablue
    2 blue +
    1 75/25

    2.) 2 aquablue
    2 blue +
    2 fiji pink
    2 super actinic

Personally, I like the aquablues and the superactinics. No experience with the others.

Do you have any of those bulbs currently?

    I like this combo

    2.) 2 aquablue
    2 blue +
    2 fiji pink
    2 super actinic

But i think the other would give more growth.

Right now I have 1 daylight, 1 fiji purple, 3 blue plus and 3 aquablue

That's the one I like the most too, but I'm worried about the growth aspect, like you mentioned.

My main desire is something that really brings out the color in the fish and coral.

If you are going to have a blue plus and actinic, dont get a 75/25 its redundant

Go with 1 ATI Purple Plus (same as Fiji just costs less), 2 ATI Aquablue Special, 3 ATI Blue Plus and an actinic. Will have more than enough PAR for growth and plenty of actinic and red spectra to show of the fish and corals.

Isn't that going to be really blue? Right now my tank is quite blue and I feel like it doesn't bring out colors very well.

Aquablue Specials are 12000K bulbs. The actinic makes the tank look darker more then blue because the other bulbs sort of over power it. Your second selection will look a little purple. Buy a couple extra bulbs for experimenting. Spares are good to have anyway. Buy 4 Aquablues which I would consider the most to put over the tank, 4 Blue plus, 2 actinic and 2 Purple plus. Actinic bulbs have some red spectrum in them so 1 actinic and 1 Purple plus would be the max for red for me. Just remember to avoid putting two bulbs of the same spectrum next to each other.
