    What's the best HQI 150w lamp for growth and where can I score it ? Any help I would apriciated , thanks :)

    Whatever is best for coral growth , it's situated above a 20 gallon long

    Ushio 6500K is what I read was supposed to be the best. For growth alone you will want to use 6500K bulbs. You could use ATI blue Plus for your T5. It has tons of PAR and should show off the colors of your corals nicely. Try reefgeeks for your purchase.

    With 150w over a 12" tall tank, kelvin is irrelevant IMO. Go with what look you like. I should have my XM 20k and 420nm actinic this week. Keep an eye on my tank thread for pics.

    i have a 20k coralife and love it. i get good growth and colors are really good. i ordered two t5ho 24 watt fiji purples because my purples arent popping as good as I want. I am using that on a 29 biocube. in a small tank growth isn;t as important as color imo. Why having coral grow outta control when you can get it colored up like crazy. My next bulb purchase will be a phoniex 14k though. i have just heard too many good things about them.
