Currently I have a couple shrimp, a carpenter flasher wrasse and a few corals. I am looking for something that will make a nice colorful addition as well as be active. I have a lid with mesh on the tank so jumpers are ok. Tank is a 72bf with 20l sump.

i would say o with a six line wrasse but you have a wrasse. can always go with a tang they are great like yellow tangs alot of color.or you can go with a dwarf angel but watch the corals. or something cool cardinals they just float and look like a still picture pretty cool to me

I selected the last option so thanks for having a sense of humour that allowed me to do that

but wrasse would be my real choice - Radient , mystery, christmas, fairy etc so many bright colours and facial markings

Voted another wrasse, but I'd definitely stay away from a sixline. Any fairy wrasse would be just fine.

Id vote for a bristletooth tang, but they really should just be the last addition to a tang period. Tangs in general.

So I voted another Wrasse. :) Blue Star or Ornate Leopard Wrasses are great fish.

I have 6 shrimp (2 cleaners, 3 peppermint, 1 tiger pistol) in my 72g and a RG with no problems. Good hardy fish. My buddy has one with a coral bandit w/o problems too.

I say bristle tooth as well in the end.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Sounds like the consensus is another wrasse. How hard are leopard wrasses to keep? I have read that they can be rather difficult. They are gorgeous fish and I would love to keep one.

How does this look for a stocking list:
    Carpenter flasher wrasse
    fairy or ornate wrasse
    Royal Gramma or Clown pair
    Bristletooth tang

Hopefully that will give me a nice light bio-load and a fairly easy to maintain tank. I am going for a LPS dominated tank with various other corals including a few SPS eventually.

Interesting about the RG eating shrimp . . . I have one housed in a 14BC with peppermints and no problems. Even had a CB with peppermints and the RG and no problems there either . . .

Interesting . .. care to share more of the history there . . ?
