Help me pick my VHO Bulbs

time to replace my bulbs...

which two should i get? i need 2 6 footers

I would go with the UVL Super Actinics.

Not sure, but I think UVL is the only company making 72" VHO now. That would leave you 454s, Super Actinics, and Actinic Whites.

Have not seen 454s in person. I use SAs and love them. Had Actinic Whites and they just seemed weak, not to mention, not much actinic in there.

 

i have super atinics now and love them, have heard good things about the 454s, the bulbs are cheap i might buy two supers and 2 454 and try them both out....i love my VHOs for blues and will never switch them out!

 

Agreed. VHO supplements are awesome. T-5 just can't compare, odd enough.

 

i totally agree i have had noth for blues, and VHOs are much better for POP IMO

 

I have 2x 454 T5's on my tank, and I love them. I would definitely at least try them out!
