What are your water params? It sounds like the anemone doesn't like something in the tank. I had one that did the same thing, was starting to get slimy but didn't smell at all, I gave it to my LFS because I was afraid it would die in my tank. Yuck! They start to smell quickly, you'll know if it's on its way out. They are really picky about water parameters.

How long has your tank been up and what kind of lights are you running?

If it's dying take it out immediately. If it looks like it's just changing out old water for new water then leave it in.

Just to give you a heads up, if it dies in your tank, then you are in for a world of hurt. They can take a tank with them.

And I would want to know params, tank age and lighting source as well.

Take it out! Don't take chances with them. I've heard they give off a toxic waste that clouds the aquarium. Whether it kills fish or corals is unknown to me. I dumped one in the toilet last week as I caught it just as it died. They are hard to keep. Leave it for solitary tanks.
