    check out the new line of super reef skimmers by octo.... they all look great...

    i have read some good reviews on the super reef 5000. I think it was the external one that was getting tons of praise on rc

    Vertex and SWC are prob the best bang for your buck.

    SWC looks good but I would probably have to respectfully disagree on the Vertex - unless you are referring to the IN series by Vertex / Royal Exlusiv. The Octopus is much cheaper and after reading reviews and researching them myself, I found the Vertex Alpha cones to be more expensive for the same performance as the Octopus, or I-Tech, or Warner Marine skimmers. Making the Octopus XP's the better bang for your buck.
