Help me spend my money!

well this sucks. I get it all hooked up and programmed..then the controller shuts off..i noticed that when i touched the ac adapter it turned back on..looked at it..and the rubber coating around the wire going into the adapter is peeling back and care wire is exposed. I called the company about it..guy was a complete jerk and didn't believe me. But he gave me a code and told me to send the adapter back. Wth am I supposed to do with the controller til I get the other one? Awful customer service. Other than that..Pretty happy with the controller.

Edit: It's not really in a fixable location, otherwise I'd just slap some electrical tape on it.

 

looks like its time to make a trip to radio shack

 

Do you think I could find some sort of universal one to fit it? It seems like even the simplest cables/etc are so specific...

 

is it just the power supply?

 

Yeah..guess it couldn't be anything too complex..I have it taped and working for now..so I'll bring it in tomorrow and see what I can find.

 

yeah just go to radio shack and bring it will you, be sure to get the right voltage etc
