Agreed on spacing new additions out by 1 month, but not on the 1 fish / 10 gal. You would not want 12 full sized tangs in a 125, but you could certainly have any number of smaller or schooling fish. There is no equation on how many fish for a given tank size as there are too many variables :-/

good luck with your kole. I love this fish but have not been able to keep one alive throughout the time I've kept fish (have never figured out why :()....definitely watch your parameters adding that many at once.....

Took the Eel in, he was in a small salt bucket that I use for acclimation/coral dip. When we got there we opened the bucket and behold, a thrown up firefish. lol

Answers in RED above. I would look into a wrasse or two, a Blenny, a Goby, dwarf angel as you are thinking, etc.

Bristletooth is rated for 70 gallons min and the copper is 75 gallons. If there's a chance for a fight that's a no go. Thank you for your info. I'm aware it's hard to keep but I like that challenge.

A Kole is a bristletooth tang. Herein lies your confusion.

    genus: Ctenochaetus = bristletooth.
