It's to bad when I got into salt tanks, I didn't know any fish forums existed. This forum has saved me sooo much $ and stress. But when I started out we had a ribbon eel & he was blind as a bat. We had to put shrimp in a ziploc & let him swim into the bag to eat. So my wife thought he would look good in our reef tank. It was only a few minutes until he started to swallow the mandarin. I don't think it even tried to get away. But luckily we noticed right away & saved the mandarin. And the eel went back in the other tank.

Sorry, I should have specified that the issue was they were from the same family. And Live Aquaria does state 125 for a Copperband, so I don't think it is cut and dry 75 min.

1 fish/10g is just stupid. I can have 3 tangs in my 29g? It's barely even a parameter. How many fish you have depends on the size of the fish your filtration so much more. Some fish need space to swim, some need caves, so much more to it. I do agree with adding them slowly. That's sound advice. That other rule though is just wrong. I wish I could put more than 3 barnacle blennies (1 inch each) in my 30 gallon. But I can only have three fish.

    See my point?

Love the firefish, and I have a paired set of semi Picasso clowns that are beautiful and fun to watch, but didn't break the back like snowflakes.

Oh I see, thanks for your help. I could have swore it was for 75 gallons. Whoops. What about the one spot fox face? Think he will have any problems?
