Help me to ID this SPS coral!

    The LFS advised me to not place the Orange monti directly under my light, so it is at an angle about 15" from the brightest point. The tips were orange with some polyps, but the white-red color and no tentacles had me worried. (you are most likely right however because it is not completely white:)) I hope its growth! I have been feeding every day, but I think the bottle says to feed weekly.

    What are you feeding? I have a tank full of sps corals and I feed them only once a week so keep that in mind. I've also kept montipora corals at the very top of my tank with no issues but it can't hurt for you to start yours lower in the tank until it acclimates to your lights. If you want to move it up, do it gradually over the course of a month or so :)
