    Not sure bout that brand,
    but what I do know is that when I used non reef salt, I was at 320-350
    When I switched to Redsea Coral Pro and IO Reef, I am at 450 with no additives.

    I dont like having to add stuff to get where I want to be


    Anyway, just my .015

    You are definitely correct, phosphates and nitrates will both show up as 0 if your algae is bad enough. Algae tends to consume the phosphates and nitrates the second they are produced. The important thing to know, is that whether or not your test kits are showing 0, they are definitely still present.

    Any reecomditions on removing them before the feed the alge? I wonder if there is much I can do to prevent this if possible.

    Ok I got it! Finally! i have set the lr in a better way so the flow is better through them and bought a new hydrometer. The salinity is not .023 and back in the normal range calcium is 480 and 1280 on the mag. Everything is correcting and I had to add just a little mag and calcium. I did a filter clean on anything that was mechanical in the wet dry and the agle too had diminished. Finally I think I got it! Thanks for the help.
