First, I feel I need to apologize for ANOTHER led thread... I am just trying to make the best decision and although I have done endless reading, everyones situation is different.
I have a 210g so each section is 24" x 24" x 30"t. I think I have decided on 48 leds for each section. The layout is what I'm worried about. The 2 options I go back and forth between is to either do 1- 24" x 6" or 2- 12" x 6" fixtures that would be more square like.
I have 30,60 and 90 degree optic options. The tank is going to be a peninsula and I do plan on clams on the sand or close to.

Let hear some opinions, experience and advice!!

I'd prob do the more square one so u can do the 60 optics to get more depth! Maybe even 45 degree optics if your really wanting clams on the bottom!

That's why I was thinking too. I am able to get 30* optics which, if my geometry is correct, gives me about a 20" spread at 36" depth. I plan to mix in some 60* and also a few 90*. It's more expensive to go the 6 fixture route and that also means 12 plugs vs. 6. That's why I was considering the other arrangement.
Anyone have anything else to add?

Look at reefledlights they have a nice little write up showing spread at depth! Should help! But a mix of 30 and 45 should be cool if not 45 and 60! Gotta watch the spotlightin!

Also. Maybe look other places for heatsinks! Might have a better config for u! Check out heatsinkusa!

Thanks. I actually looked into reefledlights but I found another source that allows me to customize my led colors and optics and a better price. I've been looking into eshinesystems 4th gen stuff.
