Ok so two days ago I added two clownfish to my cycled biocube 29. Today my levels are...

    Ammonia: .25
    Nitrite: 0
    Nitrate: 10-20

Should I just let them ride out the cycle? I'm running purigen and dosing microbacter7.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Typical, small tank newly set up introduction of 2 fish.

Me I would do a small water change, no rush. Keep feedings small.

You followed what was a cautious and appropriate cycle, the biological filter was just not big enough, this is an inherent problem with nanos.

    Go slow no huge intervention.

Alright thanks. I'll do a small 15% pwc. I'm tempted just to dump the whole bottle of microbacter in!

This will happen every time you add something that poops into your tank. It will just be a smaller and smaller cycle each time as the biofilter becomes stronger.

Nothing to worry about :) Keep your feedings down, and only in the amount your fish will eat in a couple of minutes.

May I ask why the Mb7?

Alright. I'll feed small once a day.

I started using microbacter7 the last week of my cycle. It brought my nitrites down from 2 to zero in 3 days. Then I waited another two days and added fish.

Do you run a skimmer? If so what's been your nog output since you started dosing Mb7?

No skimmer. Although I might get an aquaticlife in a month or two.
