one wasnt looking great when i woke up and by time i got back home from my fishing trip that day he was dead then the next morning the goby was dead when i woke up and then later that day my condy so i pulled the cleaner shrimp hermit crabs and emerald crab from the tank and acclimated them to my 55 gallon that was still in the process of cycling however it was better than leaving them in the 20 hex because the iminent crash and they're all still doing fine in the other tank and everything has been fine, i tore down the other tank last night cleaned the LR and filter out and added it all to the 55 which is doing fine now the only thing is the shrimp molted last night(first night in the tank), was this coincidence or do you think there is another reason behind that?

how long has this tank been cycling? it a pretty risky move id say. perhaps a heavy waterchange on your old tank would have been enough.

not very long but ive been monitoring its levels, dosing with a bio booster and i was reccomended to use prime to lock up the amonia and nitrates in a nonharmful form...not a permanent fix but it is definitely a little help right now, the ammonia levels have not reached above .25 and i do small water changes to keep it lower than that

hmmm sounds like your in for a long hard work but as long as it holds keep it up (though im personally not a fan of adding too many products to the water). you might want to let the cycling tank really settle on its own once you move the fish back to their original tank.
