Help my kenya trees plz

    my kenya tree has turned into a stump and lost all limbs and my uther kenya tree is turning brownish orange y are they doing this i thot he was fragging at first but then he dropd them ALL everything els in my tank is happy exept my kenyas.

    KTs often drop many or even all of their branches to frag themselves and reproduce. I wouldn't worry too much, but a picture would certainly help to determine what it is.

    i don't know if the kenya tree turning colors is simple adaption. for us to give you the best help we need to know about your tank.
    your parameters.
    water change schedule.
    dosing you are doing.
    corals in the vicinity of the tree.

    i have 0 nitrates 0 ammonia and ph is 8.2 all perf i dotn got no uther test kits all other corals are fine but my kenyas i did a 5 gallon water change a few days a go i use bottle water that duz not have minerals in it just as good as RODI water i calld to ask if it had minerals i have allot ofl ive rock and allot of otehr corals tanks ben going 4 3 and a half month

    did you ask if they used copper pipes like most places?
    because thats important. it probably won't be the cause but in the long run that could kill every thing.

    kenya tree is supposed to be the on of the hardiest corals. so the other corals would be affected to if it was the water change. so can rule that out.

    is the tree still inflating with water. have you seen any of the branchs in the tank. like mentioned earlier kenya tree drops frags. so i would make sure the branches are dropping off not disolving.

    ASAP tends to work best for these kinds of questions. Also they have a nifty handy form with the common questions to ensure a fast response. Pictures are worth a thousand words of course...

    i would worry considering its a kenya tree...i dont think you can even kill it. they are like giant aptisia ;D as sost said the water is probably fine. wait till tom to see how everything looks and post a pic

    i dont see any branches o-o i got a protein skimmer 4 a 75 gallon some one sed a protein skimmer takes out the copper whene i bought my mandrin at the store they used copper to kill paracites and it was about 3 montsh ago AXADENTLY added the water from teh bag to MY tank -.- so his cuild be me prob right? and i checked my ph again WITH some lite it acshually is 8.8 ima do awater change with seltzer water see if it helps

    Ok, with this said, go to ASAP copy down the form for all your tank parameters and fill it out. I think you're probably OK, but you need to know these, and we need to know what's going on in your tank.

    ooh and once you fill it out, post it here.
