Help not sure what it is

Hey all just got some new live rock and there is some kind of coral or sponge that i dont know what it is. Its on what looks like a old plant stem and it is light purple with brown pollups. Anyone have any ideas?

 

Looks like a Gorgonian coral to me

 

could you change your camera to the "macro" setting (its the button with the little flower usually) then take another picture. It should focus much better, hard to tell what it is with your pic.

Yup, they come in many colors. That's a cool addition from a hitchhiker - enjoy it.

 

That is cool but i also found a mantis shrimp on the same rock.

 

There are tons of tube coral and sponges on the rock i bought i will have to get a camera and get some good pics of all the new rock i put in. i bought it from gulf view and i love it.
