    well its a toss up between lion fish and blue ribbon eel. What temp does a lion fish need 72- 79 and could I just feed it minnows. And does anybody know about cuddle fish, how hardy? feeding? would it get eaten by moray eel or anemone

    my eel wont eat marine food only minnows I have a freezer full of frozen marine food that nobody eats (except for the snapping turtle) So I am fully stocked with frozen dinners. Thanks for the link I think they are the wierdest creature.

    Yes that frequently happens with predators like those. Live food is initially required to elicit a feeding response. However with a little bit of work on your end you can (and should) ween your livestock off of the live freshwater foods for a number of reasons.

    Ive been trying but with 2 kids its much easier and funner for the kids to throw in a minnow or two. I was buying local damsels from a petco the eel loved me then.
