Skip the faucet adapter and get a feed water adapter. It screws right into the existing plumbing with no permananet changes or damage and does not tie up a faucet for hours on end.

You install it on the valve where the cold water supply line comes through the wall under the sink. It fits right in without cutting, drilling or tapping anything and can be removed in the future with no permanent effects, great for renters or those who may move the RO/DI in the future.

Once I showed the wife how much we could (and have saved) on bottled drinking water by purchasing a RO or RO/DI system she was 100% on board. Its easy to use the RO only portion for filling water bottles or pitchers and a add on drinking water kit is less than $100 to give you pressurized on dmand drinking water from a faucet. I hooked mine to the ice maker and have crystal clear ice cubes as well as RO only water from thefig dispenser as well as a faucet at the kitchen sink and the laundry sink. Pays for itself quickly and she likes it more than I do, even makes awesome coffee.

mmm im a big tea drinker myself (all the more reason to do this). ill just buy water bottles and full them up with RO water only and see if my wife would like it if so i might look into getting a RO system just for my kitchen for that to.

    No reason for two systems.
Look at a reef quality RO/DI with a drinking water kit such as www.buckeyefieldsupply.com Reef/Residental or a Spectrapure with an add on kit. I used a single system for both for over a decade with no problems but don't even consider most of the ebay type junkers, they are not the same quality and will cost you a mint to upgrade.
