Help on Hanging Lights

    This may seem like a noob question: Is there a way to hang lights over your aquarium without attaching a cable to the ceiling? Can you then cover the aquarium with plexiglass or glass to minimize evaporation? In which case does this not attenuate your high frequency colors?

    as for hangin you can build/buy a light tree or build/buy a canopy and yes glass or plexi will probably affect your lighting

    You can make a nice light tree out of copper pipe that then can be burnished to have a nice patina, will even keep the wife happy
