Well, the worse has happened. As of the start of this week, I am now unemployed. I am trying furiously to do everything I can, but with our counties unemployment rate at 20%, the job market is like a ghost town to say the least. I am desperately trying not to sell the biggest luxury I have (my tank), but it's not looking good.
Well, I am usually above whining in self pity. But, I am not above shamelessly plugging my E-Bay sales! ;D

I will be adding a lot more items soon. Mostly music gear and military items. Maybe a few more video games.

Sorry to hear that you lost your job, I know the feeling. I dont know about your whole situation, but I have been unemployed for nearly a year and my tank has never looked better. I filed for unemployment the day I got laid off. The job market in Cali really sucks. I could find a minimum wage job but that wouldnt even cover the cost of after school care for my daughter. So I am a job seeker, stay at home dad, collector of unemployment which pays enough for us to get by with my wifes added income. For me it really has been a good thing. Now if the world would end before my unemployment runs out I would really be set. In reality my tank has pretty much been paying for itself through selling frags and trading for store credit. I was even able to upgrade my lights and skimmer. I was suprised at how many ways there are to save money if you really look into it. We had to downsize where we lived and what we drove, sell off the car we had payments on= cheaper insurance. Im pretty sure if you put your mind to it you will be able to keep your tank. Just dont eat as much? Walk where you can instead of drive? Public transportation? A lot of people have made the same adjustments. For me this has been a great test of my personality and seeing if I can hold everything together when I felt like my world was falling apart. I survived and you will to. good luck.

Very sorry to hear about your job :( Hopefully you find something new soon.

I would probably start weeding out spare or unused equipment to pay for the tank or other bills, but try and hold off on selling the big display:-/

I would buy need for speed shift from you if it were for PS3 :)

Sorry to hear about your job. But instead of being down about it, try to think of it as a great opportunity to try something else; maybe something you've always dreamed about doing but couldn't at the time. Best wishes!
