Im getting close to getting my 40b set up and picked up a odyssey 4 bulb t5 fixture. I want to get the UVL vho-r with the built in reflectors and not sure which ones to go with. I like the more blue look so this is what i am thinking

2 - 454 85% triband blue 15% nichia phospor (what ever that is)
    1 - Aquasun 100% white 10k
    1 - 75.25 75% actinic 03 and 25% tri band phospor 14k

Let me know what you guys think
    Thanks

my opinion is your 4 lamps will give you to much at the blue end of the spectrum
and may ( not sure on brand) sacrifice PAR and possibly be to blue for your viewing pleasure

454 - blue lamp as is the 75/25

    I would go 2 x aquasun 10k and 2 x 454
that would give you a much better balance of light and colour temp
and IMO would increase the PAR value

The 75.25 is actually more like the Fiji Purple or ATI Purple Plus but without the PAR.

There is no need for the internal reflector on T5HO bulbs unless the reflector is flat.

The Aquasun is actually slightly pink so I would replace the 75.25 with another Aquasun or the Indigo Sun.

If you were to go ATI I would suggest 2 Blue Plus, 1 Purple Plus and 1 Aqyuablue Special.
