This is my first reef tank its a 125. been going for about 4 months now and so far I have a few tangs a fox face and a couple clowns. As far as coral goes, I've got a green brain coral, 4 Zoa frags and a torch coral. I got my coral from vivid aquarium and was very pleased with what I got. They require a min of $150 for each order. In about a week and a half, when I get paid again, I'm gonna order some more. I'm trying to figure out what else I want to populate my tank with. I've tried to got to my LFS and look in their display tanks and see what they have but I live in a small town with only one LFS and it isnt that great. So I dont really know what else is out there besides a frogspawn or a hammer coral, mushroms, and the leather coral family. I do a lot of research on the corals I want to get, but I just dont really know what other corals are out there. I know from the list that I listed I have a lot to choose from already, but I dont want to populate my tank with just the common corals. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

What wattage mh's? I am guessing 250w on a 125.you can keep pretty much whatever you want.

All those seem pretty cool. I'll look into them more. What about the Favia corals?

If you want to go crazy get into the zoathids, there are tons and have unbelievable names and colors. Or there are monti's, milli's, acan's, and favia's.

-oh by the way vivid is a good place, have a buddy go in on the order so you can split the shipping. They have good frag colonies.

Well, I've got 4 kinds of zoa frags so far. I'm gonna expand into some other coral and see what kind of space I end up with.
I want a really uniqe and awesome setup as I'm sure most people do. The cost isnt a real big factor so I wanna get some pretty cool stuff. I'm just gonna order 150 at a time from vivid since that is the minimum and will work out pretty well as far as stocking speed. I want to have some good variety and somewhat plan out how I wanna stock the tank. And thats why I'm asking for input from the more experienced than I, which is most. I want to avoid rushing and getting certain coral and then learning a little later that I could have gotten something else instead that is way cooler.
