The flow is pretty good. I have had to mess with it a little. The smallest shift in direction makes a HUGE difference. I have always been able to find the best position, but then as I added or moved corals I would have to find a new position that worked well. As far as lighting, I used the stock lighting until just recently when I had my lfs install some LEDs for me. Honestly, with the stock lighting, everything would sustain, but didn't get much growth out of it. Everything is going crazy now with the LEDs. I don't add additives on any regular basis (which may have contributed to the lack of growth with stock lighting), but I do a weekly water change without fail to replenish necessities. Honestly, it is the easiest (and best looking) tank in the house!

Well oakvad, I just got my Oceanic BioCube 29 from DR. F&S in the mail today. I have it setting on the table now. I am still waiting on my other accesories i have ordered. These include sapphire protein skimmer, Uv sterilizer, and koralia power head that does 750GPH water flow. I have run into a contreversal subjuct on the lighting to do for corals and anemone. But nanotuners.com have a whole range of DIY kits for lighting they also have nano's that they sell that have upgraded lights and cooling. You might check them out.

I had a Red sea max 130 and they are great tanks. For nano tanks though if I get another it will be a Dsa neo nano or a Cadlights pro. I have friends here that have them and they are the best IMO.
