I've been seeing more and more of these over the last several weeks. Tonight, I am seeing over 100 of them:

This is an extreme closeup. They are about 2-3 mm in size. What are they?

Are they Sundial Snails? (Eat zoas)
Are they Collonista Snails? (reef safe)

They are definitely not sundials, and they probably are Collonista snails, or at least in the same subfamily. The markings are different from the ones that most people have, though, so they may actually be juvenile turbinids or trochids. Whichever they turn out to be, they are harmless algae eaters.

    Cheers,

    Don
