Help please!! New mushrooms not attached

i just bought some new mushrooms from live aquaria and the branch they were on got busted up durring shipping. they look great but arnt attached. i turned of all of my pumps because they wont attach themselves because of the current i think. they are settled down now where i want them how long does it take for them to suck onto the rock. these are my first mushrooms so i dont know much about them please any help is much needed. thanks

what should i do in the mean time with my pumps

 

place the mushroom on the rock you want them to attach to....get some plastic mesh and thin rubber bands and gently place the mesh over the mushroom and put rubber bands around the mesh to secure it down leave for about a week to attach and then remove...or you could redirect flow and keep them in a low flow area as no to disturb them....or I have heard of some cutting short pieces of pvc and placing them over top of the mushrooms as to create a barrier around them...

 

I read here on this forum that you take a plastic container poke holes in it so water moves thru it place some gravel type rock in it and let it set for a couple of weeks, ( in tank) once the shroom attaches to one super glue that piece of gravel to a rock. In this way you have some thing to work with.
