Heyy, I'm still new to this site, and today I mixed my saltwater for my future 10 Gallon Nano Fish Only set-up!:cheesy: I put 20 lb of Live Sand, Arag-Alive in, but I would like to know, do I run my filter right away, if not how long until I should? Do i need to run my skimmer right now? It is a Coral Live Super Skimmer 65 Gallon, is this too strong for my 10 Gallon? should I turn on the Areator yet? I'm really confused on what to do right now, no live rock yet. P.S. Are there cirtain maitenance regimens i should follow? Just wondering because im leaving to our cottage on Rice Lake on Saturday, and need to know if i need an aquarium sitter? TIA for all you're answers, sorry for asking sooo many questions. Thanx - Andrew ;D

Run your filter and go to the lake in peace. You are cycling and the less you do the better. I would not run the skimmer yet. What is the airator for?

I'm not really sure, I just read somewhere online that you are supposed to have one?

P.S. ... Shold I Get Two, Three Stripe Damsels, Or Two Ocellaris Clowns for the tank?

Should I Add anything into the water like a peice of a shrimp to start the cycle, or will it just happen on its own?

I would go with the clowns, i love those fish! They are very fun to watch, especially if you get tank raised clown, they don't seem to mind anything and are really fun to watch swim. I think it's never to early to plan on what livestock to get, there are so many choices, you want to make sure you know about them and what they need to survive.

What other stuff could i use to start the cycle? Like could i add a pinch of fish flakes or something like that, if i can even use flakes at all to start the cycle, is it safe to use freshwater flakes?
