i did a ton of research and found these on ebay, theyre rated at 2.2 watts per bulb about 55 of them i think i read some good review thats why i bought it instead of buying an led fixture that costs 600$...

heres my problem, im new to this hobby, i have a 38 gallon Nuvo, with some corals GSP hammer head a clam some fish etc, my problem is my pulsating xenia has hid itself until i dimmed my white lights to about 1/4 of its max strength.

how much blue and how much white should i use on thise light fixture? how bright? my new GSP grass looking corals havent come out very much yet. any
    help would be appreciated.

right now i have the blue at level 2 (max 9)
and whites at level 4 (max 9 also)

sounds like a good place to start, from there move it up maybe a level every week or even 2. if you notice corals are looking so good turn it back down.

thanks ive start doing that, tthe pulsating xenias looked dead until i brought it down a bit, they started coming out again, i dialed the birghtness a bit brighter and 2 hours later they were back hidden in itself. ill try to start low and go up slowly every few days.

How tall is your tank because i think your killing it with light thats alot of lumens for 38 gallons if you notice bleaching dim them if not the more blue the more natural it will look but the whites are the ones that provide the right light spectrum for the photosynthisis

FWIW I have a 250w halide over my 44gal corner tank and xenia grows like crazy, you just need to acclimate like advised above.
