Ok I'm going to sell some coral online probably craigslist and was wondering whats a good price to sell these guys for. I have a colony of hammer coral probably 15 to 18 heads on it. Also going to sell a really big piece of Tonga live rock thats covered in GSP. The rock is probably about fifteen to twenty pounds and if you were to peel off the GSP, god knows how many frags you could make. Any idea what I should price these guys at? Heres a few pics of them.

the first one is frogspawn and its usually about $5-15 per head. GSP is worth about $5 for 5 inches if your lucky to most people... but maybe you can fetch a little bit more

I agree with Dingo. Just wanted to add that if you sell the entire colony of frogspawn, you won't get near $5-$15 per head. At that size and look, I would put it up for about $75 and see what happens. As for the GSP, you may get lucky and find a person who wants it, and then you may not.

I agree with guitarman, ask about 75 dollars for the frogspawn.

i would honestly ask for 85 dollars for it, if it has that many heads..

my lfs sold me a frogspawn with 4 heads for 35bucks. so yeah...
each head was about 8.75dollars.. ( 15 heads should be like 131 dollars)..

Ok yeah my bad I meant frogspawn, always get that and my hammer mixed up. Yeah I know it will sell fast, just the GSP is going to be a pain to find a buyer for.

Around here frogspawns are rare and I traded a single head of mine for $30 credit at my LFS who in turned sold it for $60. It all depends on the pricing in your area. I would say $75 would be a steal on a 15+ head colony but that's just me living in the middle of the country where there aren't any good LFS.

Yeah in southern California a 2 to 3 head piece in a LFS goes for about 35 to 45 bucks. So they still fetch some decent cash.
