i breed dwarf seahorses and i know many other people that do as well, their numbers may be falling presently but i believe there is only a very small chance they will become endangered and even smaller of a chance of becoming extinct. because in my experience, out of all the seahorses i have had dwarfs are the hardiest and most adaptable. they also breed like rabbits. loss of habitat is a major factor but as long as there are still seagrass beds in existence there wills till be dwarf seahorses. and who knows they may also be able to adapt to live outside of the seagrass beds.
