Help Pumbing my sump/fuge

    You can drill a 10ga just don't rush the drill job, make a guide out of wood and keep it in a puddle. Like blackraven said, they are super cheap at petco and other stores, heck even craigslist over here you can find them for free.

    ok i'm going to drill so now my question is what size drill bit do i need my return pump is a mag 7 pushing 700 GPH

    I would say that since only a fraction of the 700GPH will actually pass through the bulkhead of the 10gallon that a 1" bulkhead will be perfect. I am not sure on the size of the drill bit for a 1" bulkhead but either someone else here of the manuf. of the bulkhead will advise of the correct drill bit size.

    Wow 700 mag pump so really strong,consdering that you are going 2 be plumbing 2 outlets dropping into the sump and 1 into the fuge...
    Although if you are passing straight to the fuge every thing will most likely get dimantled in ur fuge,due to the power of the 700 gph.
    I'd say valve all ur outlets and mainly ur pressure from the mag itself.
    Although If you can switch to a least poweful mag I'd do this before the valving mod.
    As I do upon adding a fuge to next year I can learn from your thread but also see where your faulting as well.

    best of luck drilling, def listen to what others have said, "drill it slow." and heck if u mess up wallmart sells em for $10 ;D
