Help reading my nitrate test, please

And I just started the Dr Tim's and its working extremely well. I used waste away 3x, eco balance 1x, and today, refresh fir the first time. The waste away knocked my little Algea issue down massively, now I'm just dying to see what the refresh dies over the next couple days.

I'll let you know how it goes, but so far, it's working well..

 

Well, I already have the new skimmer... I'm adding a sump in the closet behind the wall where the DT is. One of the decisions early on was to add a honest to god sump to this tank. That led to drilling holes in the wall to put a 40 gal breeder in the closet behind the wall. Have a big ball of cheato and a Reef Octo NWB110 skimmer. The sump and sump stand is being built by a friend who has done many sumps before. This is the really patient part of this build. I am glad though that I am taking my time. I have learned so much between when I first decided to get the sump until now, that I will have a much better idea of what to do when I get it installed. Plus having a friend that's done this before helps a lot! I'm not the best DIY guy and I'm on a budget.... those two do not mix well! hahaha

 

Todd, any advice on adding a fuge to a sumpless system?

 

Todd has a great sump setup in his basement (sump) for his display tank on his main floor. I have a couple pics of his setup somewhere. If he doesn't pipe up (cough cough Todd cough cough Todd), I can post what I have. haha
