Help removing a damsel

    I hope the net thing works- the last one I tried to take out took me several hours of taking out ALL my live rock and I still had a time netting him-

    I think I may just wait untill I change my tank over. It will be in the next month or so.

    Ok I might catch some grief for this but the easiest way I have found is to take a tiny fish hook, shave the barb off and bait the hook. Very little stress on the fish and other tank inhabitants. The hook just slips back out.

    The other method, depending on the size of your tank is to just suck the water out & shoot it back in.

    I have found these to be the least stressful. JMO

    IMO that method is a very viable method, and one I've used many times :D I use a "egg" hook and shave the barb, just like you :D It's amazing how much fight these little fish have :lol:

    Eak! After my last teardown, I learned to always be weary of adding fish. I research. No more damselfish for me. :D

    I absolutely love my new aquascape and might not add any more fish. ;D

    The damsel has been in my tank since start up. Its just recently started torturing everybody else in the tank and even comes after me when i put my hand in the tank (brave little bugger) He bites the hair on my arm.
