So, I have huge RBTA that has split. The new one has found its way up behind a rock that Ihave multiple SPS growing. I came out this morning to see in all over two species. They are almost all white, so dang near dead. I need to remove this dude and trade him or sell him asap. How can I remove him safely from my rock? I have tried the powerhead, ice on the foot method without much luck....

    Thanks....

I have a good way!!! YOU NEED: little baby squirter for the nasal cavity or something similar/ turkey baster along those lines. AND a credit card!

Slow and tedious but works! DO NOT RUSH IT!

Squirt the foot constantly with the turkey baster at the base/outer rim of the foot it will retract and try to move back. at that moment you can slip a credit card under and pry it out SLOWLY. then repeat till you get him off the rocks! Awesome strat that works all day.

Good job on removing him. I work at a store in town and we see people all the time bring in BTA that they ripped the foot trying to remove them from the rock. I will be telling people about that trick
