    shoot the edges look crinkled and scrunched up.

    not two part, rely on 15% byweekly water changes at the moment

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I am not up on the latest treatments. The standard for some time has been a freshwater bath, but I have seen it kill more clams with advance PMD than help. If you treat as soon as you see the first symptoms you can effectively stop it with multiple freshwater baths. Water temperature and pH should match tank water.

    can someone define what moderate flow is for a clam?

    could the problem be that there is not enough direct flow on the clam?
