Try unplugging it again and plugging it back in. Also make sure it hasn't tripped a GFCI circuit or a safty switch on a power strip.

Ive had good luck with the Sedra pumps Euro uses.

Easy way to clean...Put it in a bucket with a gallon of vinegar in it and let it run for an hour...absolutely spotless!

lol, side note: make sure you run it in some ro water for 15 minutes afterwards so you dont introduce a good quantity of vinegar back into your tank! No better way to drop that pH down into the acidic zone than by getting a cup of vinegar mixed into your tank water :-X

Pump doesnt hold any vinegar. Maybe...maybe if you really tried you could get it to hold a couple teaspoons. 15 min in R/O really is overkill. Once in a great while when I get Ca build up in the body of the skimmer Ill throw that in the bucket too!

From my exp's, if you hit the pump, it will start right up again. However, thats just a sign that you will need to replace it soon. That was happening to my Rio 3100 a couple of yrs ago. You should clean out the pumps every so often thou. Luna
