    Its OK

    Carbon - activated carbon
Premium Activated Carbon: Seachem Matrix Carbon for superior chemical filtration

I use this one as an example for 2 reasons
1 - they are a sponsor of this site - Sea Chem
2 - becuase I use it myself and think its very good

there are other brands to choose from

you can either run these in a reactor chamber or put mesh bags of it in your filter?

carbon removes many nasties from the water and also helps with clarity of your water

10ppm Nitrate is not an issue Crusty, dont worry about that level
20 or 30 is not a major issue with those corals either

what do you think it is. The PH is alkaline at 8.2 and phosphate are a little high at .25.
Could it be ammonia or magnesium????

    PH is fine

you dont have ammonia test, but as your showing 0 Nitrite - I dont think Ammonia will be the problem - but you would be wise to get that test kit - in other words its impossible to know for sure without the test results

Phosphate .25 - some of the more sensitive corals would not appreciate this level
and I would suggest you do get a phosphate remover like Phosban, Rhowphos, antiphos (GFO media) and add that to your system as you do have a bit of an algae issue in that tank - best to do that anyway rather than have plague conditions later with the algaes

dont forget to get your water tested for copper- just in case
I would always do that if I inherited someone elses set up.

One other thing to think of would be stray voltage. Take out the Korallia 1 for a day or two and see if the corals perk up.

I'm pretty darned sure it's the flow. Comin from a Nano owner. You have a Hydor 1 and a Hydor flow on a "14" gallon. I have a hydor 1 when I added a second one my xenia shriveled the same way. I took i out. When I removed my Aquaclear 70, and added a sump, my flow increased big time, and my xenia did the same thing. Give it a few days, or position the hydor to flow on a rock, to disperse some of the current. You will be fine in a few days, as long as your ammonia is in check.. with your nitrates at 0, you ammonia should be at 0.
