Hey, I have an orange sponge which just recently has started to grow some dark red algae of some sort on it. Im wondering if this will kill they sponge and how I might be able to fix it.

It looks like cyno--just siphon it off and your sponge will be fine.

I use a turkey baster to gently clean mine.. And to feed them the same stuff my filter feeders like..
