Help! Tank brace is breaking!

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET TANK BRACES? MY BRACE IS CRACKING ON EVERY END OF THE TANK, FRONT, BACK, AND SIDES! I READ ONE OF THE THREADS LAST WEEK BOUT USING STEEL BUT I WOULD HAVE TO MAKE A WHOLE NEW BRACE. AHHHH! GUESS I SHOULD JUST GET A NEW TANK, MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP IN 5 DAYS

I am pretty handy and i love a challenge....i really liked the steel idea is there anyway to make a steel brace? i mean im sure there is but i would need some plans....another thing im worried about is spending so much too fix it that i could have bought another tank with the $$ i spend fixing this stupid tank.

Your going to have to create a brace to hold it until you get a new tank. If it starts to bow too drastically, it will leak or completely fail even. This is an ASAP type deal.

 

Do not use steel. Steel and saltwater don't mix

 

got any good website ideas with reasonably priced tanks?

 

it's a freshwater set up but i dont have any pics. it's cracking in the front and back around the center brace then the cracks on the sides are running up the sides of the tank...it's so scary!!

 

what can i use to make a temporary brace?? how do i make one?

 

take some 1x2 and nail together to make angle and then cut and nail around tank for temp solution.
