Hello Everyone I have a bit a of a problem, I recently set up a 150 gallon tank with a 55 gallon sump underneth the tank.

It is cycled my fish and corals are all transfered, but I just noticed when I was toping off the tank yesterday that it is unlevel not alittle but alot.

Originally when i was getting the water set up I had noticed that it was slightly off and thought that I had it leveled out but I guess it wasn't enough.

Now i need help figuring out what I should do, it looks that the tank it at least and 1in to 1 1/2in off and I need to get it leveled out some how but am not sure what to do since I have it up and running already.

Any and all help or advice would be appriciated, I am trying to avoid emptying out the tank altogether. Thanks!!

Drain as much as you can to make it possible to move. Then level using strong people and shims. If you can empty the tank completely to achieve level, this would be the best thing to do. If your tank is not level, it will put uneven pressure onto one, or two of the panes, and could cause a blow out.

1 and 1/2 inches over a 6 foot span is pretty drastic. why is it so unlevel? Might want to make sure there is not a problem with all of the weight on the structure of your house. 150g + tank+ contents is a lot of weight.

+1 on the house. I have a 150 and needed to place several floor jacks under the tank in the basement. They go for about 30 bucks each or so at Lowes. Perfectly level tank after the jacks! BTW, figure the tank and all the stuff in your set up is at least 1500 LBS if not more.
