Also, some places do use questionable collection methods, i.e. cyanide, and although the fish looks good and might survive for a few weeks, their internal organs are all failing. Ask your LFS where he gets his fish from. If he is one of the good ones, he should not mind you asking a question like that.

I'm leaning with trying a different LFS as well, though I would hesitate just in case it was an issue in your tank.

You have a grounding rod, but have you actually tested for stray voltage?

Im going through the same thing.
    Healthy fish
    Powder Blue Tang
    Red scooter blenny
    Lawnmower Blenny
    6 chromies
    2 clowns
    1 firefish
    2 pajama cardinals
    1 mandarin

These were all newly added fish (no not at the same time)
    flasher wrasse
    2 starburst anthias
    1 black cap basslet
    7 anthias.

Once one anthia died BOOM it was a train wreck they all died over the next few days. I also removed the bodies, then the flasher went and the black cap.

My bubble tip nem and all other fish and corals are kicking ass. Im not sure what happened. My only guess would be that my tank dropped temp to about 71 degreed over night (weather cooled down0 didn't have my heater plugged. So im a little baffles to. All params are in check. I top off with ro/di water and do water changes also have a big sump/refuge etc....

If your on city water could possibly be that you have old filters not taking out the chlorine?

    +1 indeed

Any good LFS would let you know of his supplier and should know of the method of capture and (hopefully) whether they're captive bred.

No, we haven't tested for stray voltage. Wouldn't that affect all of the fish?

Not necessarily. Well, not to the same degree it would to a new fish

We have a chiller that keeps the temp pretty steady.

The filters are only 2-3 months old.
