Help....the pet sitter dumped in too much food

    My friend has a 90 gallon reef and the pet sitter just dumped nearly half a small can of food into the tank. I am the emergency contact for the tank should something go wrong.

    I haven't gone over to see the tank yet. I just told her to remove as much of the food as possible to avoid more problems. What else should I be concerned with?

    Check the skimmer cup.
    Can you do a water change?

    do you know anything about tanks? Maybe do a 20% water change and YES get out as much as possible... It(the bad stuff) won't show up now, but it will in a few days. Don't feed the fish for a few days either. When does your friend get home?
