help what is this on my fish

Well if its appeared so quickly its def not marine velvet - and it looks far too dense to be ich, so im sticking with brookynella.
You need to act quickly as previously said. saying that tho - i know this sounds cruel, but given the diesease is such a rapid killer, it might be worth tossing the clown, as they are easily replaced.

 

i put him in qt it look as if two of my smaller hippo tangs are starting to get white dots very similar to ich..... when i put the clown in qt it seemed much of this stuff came off in the net or something

 

im starting to freak out guys those small tangs arnt as easy to catch as the clown fish.........

 

Do you have any coral or inverts in your tank? May be worth just treating everything in your tank all at once if you don't have anything other than fish in there.

 

i have some mushrooms an anenome and 1 cleaner shrimp 2 peperment shrimp

 

When I see spots I remove the fish and do a copper dip 1st week 10min 2nd week 15min 3rd week 20min it always works for me. and its good for a wide spred or problims. I use a product callded copper power.

 

well the clown fish died in qt ..... o well it seems i have no luck with the wild caught one i have a tank raised that has been in there sence the begining but two wild caugt ones have managed to die on me with that same thing

 

oh dear, sorry for that buddy - i guess it kinda confirms it was brookynella. Keep a eye out and see if it appears on anything else!
