My tank is 30" long 18" deep and 12 inches wide. What kind of LEDs will allow me to keep the largest variety of photosynthetic corals/inverts? Currently still cycling, just looking forward - I like to be prepared.

My budget is limited, I am a college student. I would not like to spend more than $200-300 if possible. What do you know about Aquaray?

I could have written this thread, same exact tank, just about 3 weeks ahead of you it sounds like. And I'm hunting for a new light system, leaning toward programmable LED systems. Good luck with your cycling, and welcome to 3reef.

In their description they say it covers a 24" cube(im guessing with the 60 optics) and 36" for sps in the middle and lps/softies on the ends(im guessing with the 120 optics) so based on the numbers you might be smack in the middle with the 90 optics. But you could always email them and ask. Ive seen them on this site so maybe theyll stumble across this and chime in before you do.
