Help With Algea?

I have two things in my tank, I think algea....hopefully not too bad and fixable.

I am going to attach 2 pics for you to see as best you can, if you could help me identify these and let me know if I should be concerned and how to fix.

One picture is of little while almost fuzzy soft looking balls. I see them on a few rocks in the tank.

The other picture is of white branch like things growing off of some rocks in the tank.

Any info or help you can give on these would be greatly appreciated.

I see a couple feather duster tubes in the first picture..other than that I can't really see much. So maybe it's the feathers you are seeing?

 

I know ....not the best words for a description.

What are the branchy things?...you really think the white stuff is sponge?
Is that bad?
