help with aquac remora

what pump do ineed to properly run this skimmer? i just hooked it up to a 1100lph pump but dont think its working correctly any responses would help thanks

 

i believe maxi jet 1200, but you can successfuly overdrive it

 

MJ1200 or a Mag3. Both work well.

What are you running on it now?

 

I have a rio 1400 on mine it comes with the pro version

 

ok i just rigged a mj1200 to it. it has a better stream now but its just a stream lol not coming out to fast there are bubbles inside in the middle chamber but none coming out is this normal not really sure how these ones work lol just picked this one up

my lights are off aleady at least my 10000k its just like tiny bubbles in the middle right under the foam tower or whatever its called. the manual i just looked up said for the first week or 2 it would produce bubbles in tank but im not really seeing any idk i will wait til tomorrow and if still seems kinda weird i will get camera out and post pic. it is the pro i measured its 22 in tall so the mj1200 might be to small.

 

i think i found nitrate problem

this is what the new skimmer did in the first 20 hours or so i dont think my old skimmer did that in its entire life would anyone agree? lol and for posts last night here is in the inside of the skimmer it seems to be working much better now and is giving me bubbles like crazy flow is still slow but if there was this much in the collection cup then the flow is bothering me lol

 

Move that o ring on the collection cup down the further down the cup the dryer the skimate
