hey im pretty new to the SW game, and im tryign to figure out how to do this thing with the coral and attaching it to LR but i have my Zoa's on a piece of rock thats sitting on a hole in the LR. It fits and is just lying there but its not 100% fitting on it, its secure and isnt moving but im not sure if i need to move it to a more solid area of the rock? can anyone answer this for me?

Just to get things straight, the zoas are on a piece of rock already, but a small one, and you are wanting to attach this to a bigger piece of rock correct? If that's the case, you can super glue or epoxy the two pieces of rock together. Use the super glue gel or saltwater epoxy that can be found on pretty much any marine supply website. You can also get the super glue gel from walmart or any other store.

    +1 for the above.

I like the superglue method personally. Make sure it is the gel type. Glob it on, and then press the frag in place with a slight twist. The twist is necessary because the glue will dry on the outside, forming a thin membrane. The twisting action breaks this open allowing fresh glue to contact and dry almost instantly.

If it fits well in the hole I would leave it like that. Ultimately that is the best way. You should only glue it if you want to put it somewhere that it would fall off

Even if it fits well if it were me I would still use a small bit of super glue gel to secure it, not a lot but just to keep it from wobbling around and to elminate the possibility of it moving/getting knocked around (maybe even by you accidentally) etc. Not necessary by any means, if it fits well but it would make me feel better. Sometimes crazy things happen in our tanks and frags end up getting flipped over etc.

I've used "coral glue", which is just superglue in a different packaging, crazy glue gel, and the epoxy sticks. all of which worked. Too bad I couldn't get the corals to stay alive....
