help with blue hippo

    i just bought a blue tang this weekend and after the third day having it, it has been rubbing against the sharp ends of the rock, from what i here they say that she might have ick but i dont notice any white spots on her so if anyone could tell me why she does this or is she getting ick..

    you dont have to notice any white spots, id say the fish already has ich as the parasite is present most of the time before it can be detected with the human eye. This fish is considered an ich magnet. Did u quarantine it?

    U may want to consider adding some garlic to its food. If ich becomes visible and scratching becomes more predominant, u will have to put it in hospital tank.

    I lost one hippo tang already to ich and not quarantining, i wouldnt wi**** to happen again.
