Help with coralife skimmer 65

    There should not be any water in the small air intake line. If there is, try clearing that out and make sure that the housing it is attached to is secure on the pump and that the hose itself is secured on the housing.

    The skimmer works once you figured some of its flaws out, as far as the micro bubbles in the tank, this is what I did to resolve that (pic)
    I had noise from mine also, what I did was add a piece of airline tube about 6 inches to that breather right above your diffuser box.

    Thanks everyone for their reply I recently found out that my pump needs to be at least 24mm away from the output hose so the pump won't suck the microbubbles into the skimmer to make more of em... I will do that to rid of the bubbles but as for the noise it's still loud and I hear the Venturi skimmer are naturally noisy not sure if it's true...

    Mine was making a lot of noise too. When I put put my finger over the air inlet it would stop. But the air inlet wasn't making the noise. I figure out by mistake it was the piece that connect the air line to the pump. (grey plastic piece) all I did was take it off and rotate it a little and it stopped the noise.
